Dance Builder

Dance Builder is available for Windows and OS X and requires the use of your webcam.

Take four photos of yourself in different poses. Once finished, Dance Builder runs the images in sequence to produce a short dance.

Throughout the process, I'm dancing with you. I'm even dancing on this page! Maybe something I'm doing will give you some ideas for your poses. Maybe you'll ignore it. It's all up to you. Turn on some music and see what happens.

None of the images Dance Builder captures are saved or stored anywhere. The only record is in your body.

Dance Builder is also part of the Pretzel series: an ongoing exploration of dance thinking, and the learning and sharing of movement through games.
